Privacy Policy

Effective October 24, 2026 · Quiz Lab Automation

This policy describes the personal YouTube management integration operated by Mike Engelhardt for the Quiz Lab channel. It covers this information website and the owner's automation, rather than every service used by the channel.

Google and YouTube information

The integration uses YouTube API Services. With the channel owner's authorization, it accesses channel identity and available channel/video metadata, processing and privacy status, publication settings, and available performance metrics. It submits video files and associated metadata when an approved upload or publication action is executed.

The application does not collect Google passwords or ask website visitors to connect their accounts. Authorization occurs on Google-hosted consent pages. Access is limited to the authorized owner's channel; there is no public account-connection service.

How information is used

Information is used to confirm the intended channel, prepare and manage approved uploads and schedules, avoid duplicate posting, diagnose failures, and review channel performance. The automation does not train AI models on Google API data. Google data is not sold or used for advertising profiles.

Storage and service providers

Automation runs in the owner's private GitHub project. Refresh credentials are kept in GitHub Actions secret storage, separate from the public website. API responses, operational reports and upload records may be retained in private job artifacts and project state. Access tokens are used by running jobs. Owner-approved assistants may process relevant reports when helping operate the integration; media and review files may also be held in the owner's private project storage, including ChatGPT Library.

Google/YouTube processes API requests and uploaded content. GitHub processes workflow execution, credentials and private operational records. Cloudflare hosts these public information pages and may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to serve and secure them. These services apply their own privacy terms. Publicly published videos and their public metadata are visible on YouTube.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained only as needed to operate the integration, review results and resolve upload or publication issues. Temporary job artifacts expire according to their configured retention. Versioned operational records require operator-managed cleanup; credential revocation does not itself erase those records or delete videos from YouTube.

To request deletion of retained Google/YouTube API data, email mikeewood222@gmail.com and identify the channel and request. The operator handles deletion from active records and retained copies. Owner-requested deletion must be completed as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days; data obtained under revoked authorization must be removed as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days. Records containing Google/YouTube API data must be refreshed or deleted within applicable YouTube retention limits. These are operator responsibilities, not a claim that an automatic deletion service exists.

Disconnecting Google access

The owner can revoke the integration's access at any time through Google account security permissions. Removing its authorization stops further authorized API access. Deleting stored credentials from the private automation's secret storage also prevents future jobs from using them. Published videos can be managed or removed separately through YouTube Studio.

Website cookies and third-party content

These pages do not include advertising, embedded video, signup forms, analytics scripts, or application cookies. Following a link to YouTube or another service takes you to that service, which may use cookies under its own policy.

Google policies and limited use

The integration's use of information received from Google APIs must follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements where applicable, and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. See also the Google Privacy Policy.
